On March 21, 2023, our founder, Louis Ching, volunteered at the CFA Seymour EV Fire Emergencies Training, sharing his expertise on lithium-ion battery safety with firefighters and first responders. Arriving in a Nissan Leaf, Louis provided hands-on insights into EV fire risks, emergency shutdown procedures, and containment strategies to help ensure safer responses to EV-related incidents. As EV adoption grows, we remain committed to bridging the gap between innovation and safety.

In June 2022, our founder, Louis Ching, volunteered in an SES Rescue Training Session on EV Safety, sharing critical insights into EV hazards, extrication techniques, and battery risks. As EVs become more common, emergency responders must adapt their rescue methods to handle high-voltage systems, structural differences, and fire risks. Through hands-on training and real-world scenarios, Louis helped equip SES teams with the knowledge and confidence to respond safely to EV-related incidents—because a safer road starts with informed first responders.
